Who We Are
We are a Wisconsin non-profit organization comprised entirely of
volunteers. Our goal is to provide the opportunity for our
community youth to participate in and enjoy cross-country
skiing. We welcome any youngster from the larger geographic
area which includes Bayfield, Ashland and Sawyer Counties.

Activities
During the winter months and weather permitting, we ski at least
once a week. We offer ski lessons and training for youth ages 4
to 18 years old. Many of our youth participate in the North
American Birkenbiener youth racing events that occur in Cable
and Hayward.

Participation by Parents
We depend upon parents volunteering their time to keep our
organization in operation. Some parents help with coaching or
chaperoning on the ski trails. Many parents volunteer in other
important non-skiing activities such as helping with fund raising,
dispersing ski equipment, racing events and transportation to
and from the ski trails. We request parents volunteer at least 3 to
4 hours per season. Most parents volunteer even more hours just
because it's fun!
